We invite you to learn more about us by viewing our Welcome Video...
THANKS FOR VISITING our web site, which we hope will provide a helpful introduction to our church and the ministries we pursue together. The First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown is no ordinary gathering of people forming another organization or club. We believe that the Holy Spirit has brought us together for the purpose of creating a living and dynamic witness to the presence and redeeming grace of Jesus.
It is our intention to "know Christ and to make Him known." We believe that the more we come to know each other and celebrate our God given gifts together, the more we realize and demonstrate the presence of our Lord.
We are also keenly motivated by our Savior's great commission "to go and make disciples of all nations." We believe that the members of the this church family have great potential for passing on the "good news," not only within their homes, but throughout the neighborhood, into the marketplace, and even beyond - to those we do not know and will never see.
You are welcome to a Church family that desires to honor Jesus Christ with our lives. There is a great joy and health when Christians work together in the grace of the Holy Spirit. We welcome you to share our joy in Jesus's name.
Dr. Richard Herman, Executive Pastor
The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), with denominational offices in Louisville, Kentucky, has approximately 2.1 million members, more than 10,000 congregations and 14,000 ordained and active ministers.
Presbyterians trace their history to the 16th century and the Protestant Reformation. Our heritage, and much of what we believe, began with John Calvin (1509-1564), whose writings crystallized much of the reformed thinking that came before him.
We Are A Stephen Ministry Congregation
Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2, NRSV).
What Is Stephen Ministry? Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system. As a Stephen Ministry congregation, FPC equips and empowers lay caregivers - called Stephen Ministers - to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.
