“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up…” (Eph 4:11-12)

Our Journey

The process of finding a new member to join the staff of our church is one of discernment, challenging the congregation to listen closely for the will of God for its mission and ministry in this new stage of the congregation’s life.

Our APNC committee is in the process of renewal as they prayerfully follow God’s lead in our search. We will be updating this page with new details and materials as they become available.

Mission Study Report

The Session of the church called a Mission Team in 2016 and charged it to compile a comprehensive profile of the church to aid in the calling of a new senior pastor. The document was updated with addenda dated June 2, 2017 and October 30, 2018, reflecting organizational changes since the issuance of the Mission Study Report.

Essential Tenets

FPC Moorestown adopted a summary of the essential tenets of the Christian faith and our Reformed distinctives in 2006. It was intended to define in a clear way where we stand as a congregation within PC(USA) based upon the then-current Book of Order and Book of Confessions.
