Scripture gives us good reasons to step up to the plate. Paul writes in 1 Timothy 6:17–19 that we should “be rich in good deeds, generous, and willing to share.” Giving doesn’t start with huge amounts—it begins with a simple commitment. Like baseball, nothing happens until you step into the batter’s box. When we share, we discover the joy of giving. The goodness of life and the blessings of God come most fully when we’re willing to open our hearts and generously share our financial resources.

Covered Dish Brunch & Kickball Game

Prior to October 12, each household will receive information by mail, including a 2026 Estimate of Giving card and — this year — a 2026 Capital Campaign pledge card. In response to congregational requests, we are including both pledge cards in this fall mailing. Completing these cards are more important than ever. It allows our church leaders to more accurately budget for the church’s ministry in fiscal year 2026. Please BRING both these Estimate of Giving cards with you when you come to worship on October 12. You are encouraged to complete it during worship.

2026 Stewardship Campaign

Scripture gives us good reasons to step up to the plate. Paul writes in 1 Timothy 6:17–19 that we should “be rich in good deeds, generous, and willing to share.” Giving doesn’t start with huge amounts—it begins with a simple commitment. Like baseball, nothing happens until you step into the batter’s box. When we share, we discover the joy of giving. The goodness of life and the blessings of God come most fully when we’re willing to open our hearts and generously share our financial resources.

While our church has made strong progress toward financial stability and balanced budgets, rising inflation and increased costs to maintain our building and grounds remain a challenge that strains our annual budget.

We can’t afford to wait and see — it’s time for all of us to Step up to the Plate and do our part.

2026 Capital Campaign

This year, in response to your requests, we’re combining the 2026 Stewardship Campaign with the 2026 Capital Campaign.

This will be our third year in raising capital money outside of the general budget. We have a beautiful Church and grounds that need constant upkeep and financial resources that we cannot satisfy from pledges to our annual budget alone.

The last two years through your generosity we have averaged $150,000 in additional pledges for our Capital Fund without adversely impacting your generous pledges to our annual operating budget. Your generosity has enabled us to improve our parking lot, upgrade the electrical and HVAC systems, upgrade our fire prevention system and smoke detectors, and address many more capital needs.

The effectiveness of our church’s mission and ministries in 2026 depends on your initiative and dedication.
