Pour Out to the God of Hope and Be Filled

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

The National Day of Prayer is observed annually on the first Thursday in May. This day of observance, designated by the United States Congress, asks people to turn to God in repentance and prayer. Please join our church family as we lift up our nation to the Lord in prayer.

The National Day of Prayer has great significance for us as a nation as it enables us to recall and to teach the way in which our founding fathers sought the wisdom of God when faced with critical decisions. It stands as a call for us to humbly come before God, seeking His guidance for our leaders and His grace upon us as a people. The unanimous passage of the bill establishing the National Day of Prayer as an annual event, signifies that prayer is as important to our nation today as it was in the beginning.

We are Hosting a Prayer Vigil

The FPC Moorestown Prayer Committee is sponsoring a 12-Hour Prayer Vigil from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 1. This year we have set up 15-minute time slots. Feel free to sign up for 30 minutes (2 slots) or several throughout the day. What time works best for you?
