Amos: The Lion’s Roar

Pastors Spencer and Allen preach a 9-week sermon series called, “The Lion’s Roar” based on the book of Amos. “The biblical prophets continue to be the most powerful and effective voices ever heard on this earth for keeping religion honest, humble and compassionate. Prophets sniff our injustice, especially injustice that is dressed up in religious garb.” No one carried out such a ministry like the prophet Amos.

Memory Verse: Hate evil and love what is good; turn your courts into true halls of justice. Perhaps even yet the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will have mercy on the remnant of his people. (Amos 5: 15)
