Signs of Life

In the Sundays of Easter, Pastors Spencer and Allen preach a series of sermons called, “Signs of Life,” from the seven miracles or signs recorded in the Gospel of John. “These seven miracles . . . are preeminently signs because they point to those aspects of Jesus’ ministry in which He demonstrated His transcendent control over the factors of life with which humans are unable to cope. Quality, space, time, quantity, natural forces, misfortune, and death circumscribe human experience.” (from John: The Gospel of Belief by Merrill Tenney)

Memory Verse: “But these [signs] are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.” John 20:31
