Evening Prayer at FPC Moorestown: New Ways to Pray

We’re continuing to see the Lord together on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm with our live streamed Evening Prayer service. Some of our members and friends have made Thursdays a day for Fasting and Prayer, a new way to pray with your Church Family.  DOWNLOAD OUR FASTING AND PRAYER GUIDE HERE
This sequence of Evening Prayer services will last through the end of December:
First and Fourth Thursdays
On the first and fourth Thursdays of the month, we’ll continue to offer the 30-minute service with music, a psalm reading and a prayer time for the needs of our congregation, community and world.
Second Thursday
On the second Thursday, we offer a guided prayer time using the Harvest Prayer of Jesus. In Luke 10:2, Jesus commands us to pray to Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into a harvest that is ripe and ready. This prayer time includes some with Dr. Ed Gross and Pastor Spencer followed by directed prayer for the work of making disciples within church and our community.
Third Thursday
On the third week of each month, we’ll be praying for racial healing and reconciliation. Pastor Jonathan Leath, co-pastor of the Converge Church in Moorestown, will join Pastor Spencer to talk about how to pray for this important matter. Following a short teaching, we’ll pray through a series of requests. Both the Harvest Prayer and Prayer for Racial Healing will last about 20 minutes.
