Church Has Left the Building 2025

Thank you to all who joined us!

This year we gathered together on Saturday, March 29 and our Fifth Sunday, March 30, for our church-wide service initiative Church Has Left The Building, a program coordinated by our Board of Deacons. Additionally, we took part in a Prayer Vigil on Saturday, March 29 organized by the Prayer and Discipleship Committee.

Watch for our 2026 Date! We plan to hold our event in the spring.

What is Church Has Left the Building?

Each year, coordinated by our Board of Deacons, members and families head out into the community to be the hands and feet of the church.

Activities are designed to support our church and our community partners. Projects are formatted so that people of any skill level and any age can take part. We offer something for everyone… and it’s fun!

Each special program is led by a Deacon. We offer thanks to past leaders Susan Shaffer, Bobbi Voglesong, Gail Sorin, Rev. Wes Allen, Mike McNeil, Karen Hynoski and Leslie Spencer.

In 2021 we left the building – literally!

Our church-wide mission project was redesigned to reflect the global pandemic, and in 2021, all activities were safely done off-site. We added more projects and encouraged families to work together on larger projects such as food drives.
See all we accomplished in our wrap-up video!
