Welcome to Presbyterian Women

Understanding our logo; The three figures represent all women in the Presbyterian church; young, old, of any national or ethnic background. We are a community of women in Christ.
 
The the design is a triangle within a circle suggesting Trinity and Unity. The  The Bible represents the Word who is Jesus Christ, the foundation of our faith and Fellowship.
 
Forgiveness is suggested by all three figures rising from the Bible:
  • One is caring for others
  • One is praising God
  • One is studying

Our Purpose

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves
  • to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
  • to support the mission of the church worldwide,
  • to work for justice and peace, and
  • to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.

PW Fall Gathering

We gather together three times a year to nurture our faith, worship together and join in fellowship. You are invited to take part in our gatherings and deepen your engagement in all that a Presbyterian Woman does. And please, bring a friend!

Circles, Study Groups, Service 

These are groups of women who meet monthly to nurture their faith through prayer and Bible study. We support the mission of the church world wide. We work for justice and peace, and we aim at building an inclusive, caring community that strengthens the Presbyterian Church and witnesses to the promises of God’s Kingdom.

Join a Circle

Each Circle is a small group of women learning and growing in Christ together. Join one that fits your schedule.
  • Circle 1 – 6:30 am, 1st Friday via zoom
  • Circle 2 – 9:30 am, 3rd Monday, the Hayes Room at the church
  • Circle 4 – 9:00 AM 3rd Tuesday, Meeting offsite
  • Circle 5 – Service circle meets periodically for projects to benefit various ministries
  • Circle 6 – 4:00 PM 2nd Tuesday, Meeting offsite

Our Studies

  • In 2026- 2027 we will be studying “United Through Christ, Bound to Each Other.” We invite you to join circle 2, 4, and 6 to join this study.
  • Elizabeth Group
    Mondays at Noon at the church. A book club study.
  • Dorcas Study Missionaries
    Thursdays at 9:00 AM. A study of the 1st Book of the Psalms.
  • Bible Babes
    Every other Wednesday 7:30 am.

Opportunities for Service

  • Knitting Network
    Projects include creating prayer shawls, lap robes for those in need, baby items and Christmas ornaments. 
  • Strawberry Festival
    Held first Friday of June. Presbyterian Women help provide the cakes for this event baking, cutting, and serving.

Opportunities for Giving

All funds raised for these offerings go to the PW PC(USA).
  • Thank Offering
    The gift is given in the Fall and supports the mission of the PW worldwide. One third goes to hospitals and health related programs. Two-thirds goes to mission.
  • Birthday Offering
    Collected during March meetings. These funds go to predetermined projects selected by the Creative Ministries Offering Committee of PW PC(USA)
  • Least Coin
    Collected throughout the year. The unity among all women spanning all socioeconomic levels international is represented as each women gives the Least Coin of their country’s currency.
