Presbyterian Women Gatherings

We gather together three times a year

to nurture our faith, worship together and join in fellowship. You are invited to take part in our gatherings and deepen your engagement in all that a Presbyterian Woman does. And please, bring a friend!

Please view our recent gathering videos. Each brings a wonderful message of Presbyterian Women learning and doing God’s work in the world.

Christian Caring Center Socks Box – Thank You!
Thank you FPC Moorestown for helping to fill the Socks Box this January! The contents were delivered to the Christian Caring Center in Browns Mills.

An article in the February 21 Courier Post highlighted the need:
“National surveys reveal the No. 1 requested item by homeless shelters is not coats or hats, but clean socks. In addition to protecting the feet from hypothermia and frostbite, those surveys also show that homeless guests often suffer from extensive foot problems such as blisters, infections, and other skin-related conditions due to the lack of clean socks.”

Thank you for stepping up so others can step out more comfortably!

We are sorry but due to technical difficulties this video is no available.

PW Fall Gathering

Held on September 21, 2020 via Zoom
The Women of the Church invited members and friends to the Fall Gathering at First Presbyterian Church, hosted by Presbyterian Women via Zoom.

Our featured guest speaker, Pam Main, treated all to an inspirational message, based on this year’s PW study: “Into the Light… Finding Hope Through Prayers of Lament”.

Laments are prayers that bridge the space between our faith in God and the reality of living in our not-yet-redeemed world. In this study we see that Jesus offered prayers of lament and noted suffering and sorrow in the world. If we are to pattern our lives after His, we need to reclaim lament in our personal and corporate prayer. We need to lament, and Pam encouraged us to “Let it Out”.

We invite you to watch Pam Main’s presentation.
