Consecration Sunday 2022

“Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full — pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” – Luke 6: 38

Live to Give!

Our church’s 2023 programs and ministries depend on you. Please make plans to be present on October 16th. And plan on staying after worship for an outdoor tailgate and fellowship!

October 16, 2022
9:30 am Combined Worship followed by an Outdoor Tailgating Party

Sunday, October 16 is Consecration Sunday at FPC Moorestown. Please plan now to join your church family in worship that Sunday for a COMBINED 9:30 am service in the sanctuary followed by a church-wide celebration. Children’s Sunday School will be held at 9:30 am during worship.
Everyone will gather for one combined worship in the sanctuary to hear an inspiring message by Pastors Stuart Spencer and Wes Allen to dedicate our 2023 financial gifts as an act of worship.

A Tailgate Celebration!

Let’s Tailgate!

After worship, the celebration continues. We will gather outside for a special tailgating cookout!
Volunteers will be grilling, and church members can bring their favorite Tailgate side, salad or dessert. We’ll have outdoor family games and fun for the kids too.

If you would like to, come to worship in your favorite team jersey as part of the festivities! Please RSVP for the tailgate online, by mail or with an RSVP postcard in worship on October 2nd or October 9th. It’s important for us to get an accurate count.
by Tuesday, October 11 (RSVP and regrets)

A blessed day as we join together to dedicate our gifts to our church.

What You Can Look For

In the weeks leading up to Consecration Sunday, we’ll hear personal stories from three church members about exactly how your gifts make a critical and impactful difference in our church. The Bible reminds us that we must be stewards of all that we are and everything we have, and recognize that everything comes from God.
In September, each household will receive a Giving Packet by mail, containing church financial information and your 2023 Estimate of Giving card. Completing this card is more important than ever. It allows our church leaders to accurately budget for the church’s ministry in this unsettling season. It’s up to us to fund the future of First Presbyterian Church.

Count me in!

With the effects of the pandemic and our nation’s economy continuing to present challenges, now is the time for all to dig down and rise to the challenge in our giving.
Our goal is to have every member and regular worship attendee respond. You may return your Estimate of Giving in a number of ways:
  • Prayerfully dedicate in person during the 9:30 am worship on October 16th.
  • Drop in the offering plate before Consecration Sunday if you’ll be away
  • Mail to the office in a provided envelope
  • Submit your gift securely online
