And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. (Ephesians 2: 20)

Our Christian stewardship process is a prayerful time designed to concentrate on the giver’s need to give for his or her own spiritual growth. This is between you and the LORD. Now is the time to make that personal commitment as an act of worship. This is a special and meaningful day in one’s faith journey.

In the weeks leading up to Consecration Sunday,

we’ll hear personal stories from three multigenerational FPC Moorestown member families. It’s fundamental for us to understand that we must be stewards of all that we are and everything we have and we must recognize everything comes from God.

Do you know the history of the Collins mansion and how it came to be the heart of First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown?

The home was once the residence of Miami Beach developer and bank executive, Irving A. Collins. The son of Miami Beach founder John Collins, Irving passed away in 1939 leaving his 23-acre estate at the corner of Bridgeboro and Riverton Roads to his wife Beatrice. In 1950, Beatrice sold the estate to the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown for $35,000. The residence remains the central part of the church campus today.
