EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT

Evan’s Eagle Scout Project for FPC Moorestown, NJ

Hello Everyone,

My name is Evan Livingston, and I am a proud member of Boy Scout Troop 22 in Lumberton, New Jersey. I am beginning my Eagle Scout Project, which will allow me to earn the highest rank in Scouting; Eagle Scout.

My Eagle Scout Project revolves around my local church, The First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown, NJ. I am planning to build a fire pit and seating area. This project will benefit the large youth groups at the church when the youth groups want to enjoy fellowship and talk about their faith. The fire pit area may also be used during other social and congregational activities at the church. Currently, the area where I will build the fire pit is a large grassy area between the parking lot and the church’s cemetery. My goal is to complete my project in the late fall of 2021.

My project will encompass the twelve points of the Scout Law. For example, the sixth point of the Scout Law is to be kind; this point is demonstrated by giving back to my community and helping the families of my congregation. The twelfth point of Scout Law is to be reverent. As a proud Christian, I am devoted to this project since it supports my church, youth groups, and congregation, which firmly guided my morals and faith.

While I will be the project leader, many other Scouts, family, and friends will volunteer to help build and complete my project. You can help me too; any donations will be greatly appreciated as my project would not be possible without you.

Thank you,
Evan Livingston
