Memory Verse: Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law. This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. (Romans 13: 10, 11)

Our Stewardship Season

The ancient Greeks had two words for time: Chronos and Kairos. Kairos is a word meaning the right or opportune moment. While Chronos refers to chronological or sequential time, Kairos signifies a period or season, a moment of indeterminate time in which an event of significance happens.

Prayer for the Season: Spirit of God, be present with me in the chronos moments of my life, the day-to-day, the ordinary. Help me to be loving in my relationships and giving to those around me. Help me to be diligent in doing the tasks immediately before me. Spirit of God, I welcome you to speak, to move in an opportune and unexpected, kairos way. Lord, heighten my awareness and increase my sensitivity to your Kairos. Cause me to open myself to those special moments when you are present and moving, advancing me toward a richer, more abundant life. Finally, let me be equally grateful for both the chronos and the kairos, to find you and embrace you amid both.

We are offering two services on Sundays;

  • 8:30 am Traditional service in the Sanctuary
  • 11:00 am Contemporary service in Miller Commons
  • And on Consecration Sunday, October 17, a special Combined Worship service in the Sanctuary at 9:30 am only
We’ll continue offering our live stream for those who can’t come to church or feel safer watching from home. Our Thursday Prayer and Praise Service is available online only.

Are you planning to attend a service in person?

Join Us for a Wednesday Study

The Engagement Project

A 10-week study which will meet Wednesday evenings at the church. When we draw near to God and contemplate His divine nature, it exposes us, as it did Isaiah. But it also awakens us to His Truth, which transforms us and calls us to engage the world around us. After we engage, we seek to restore the Truth of God in all areas of life.
